Christmas Fare
Christmas! That wonderful season that fills us all with nostalgia and warmth.
We offer a variety of traditional Cakes and Puddings, Mincemeat for all tastes and a small selection of homemade pickles and marmalades - deliciously laced with Brandy, Whisky or Port.
Traditional Simnel Cake is available for Easter, baked with a thick layer of marzipan in the centre and topped off with lots more of this delicious almond paste!

Christmas Cakes & Puddings

Full of fragrant flavour & jewel-like fruits, traditionally decorated with marzipan and icing, or with glacé fruit and/or nuts.

Everybody's favourite! Thick marzipan and icing, English tradition at its best.
- Creole Cake: €24,00
Moist, fruity and seeped in rum, brandy, port & cherry brandy!
Decorated with glacé fruit and/or nuts.
- Traditional Christmas Pudding: 1lb €8,00, 2lb 14,50
Rich & fruity, with stout, barley wine and rum. No Christmas is complete without one!
Preserves

- Traditional Mincemeat:
Full of fruit and spice. Vegetarian variety also available.
- Spiced Pickled Pears:
Something a little different to serve with roast goose or duck; or served warm with cold cuts for supper!
- Christmas Chutney:
Dark, spicy & full of dried fruits. Wonderful with cold meats, pork pies, sausages and cheddar cheese!
